Bone Mineral Density Study in Women with Endometriosis
A low bone mineral density may occur in women with endometriosis over age 40. Doctors at the National Institutes of Health invite you to participate in a study of bone mineral density in women aged 40 to 50.
- Tests to find out if women with endometriosis have a lower bone density women with out endometriosis
Location: The NIH Clinical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, outside of Washington, DC.
Cost: All study related care is PROVIDED AT NO COST.
You may be eligible to take part if you:
- Are between the ages of 40 and 50
- Have had endometriosis diagnosed at surgery
- Have normal menstrual cycles (25-34 days)
- Are not pregnant or breast feeding
Remuneration is up to $110.
